Dr. Ambika Sharma is an experienced orthodontist dedicated to helping patients buildconfidence through personalized, high-quality care. She completed her undergraduate anddental training at the University of Connecticut through its highly selective Combined Programin Medicine and Dentistry. During dental school, she also earned a Master of Public Health,where she focused on disparities in access to dental care.
Dr. Sharma went on to complete her orthodontic residency at the University of Louisville,where she served diverse and underserved patient populations. During her residency, sheearned a Master of Science in Dentistry and conducted research on multimodal imaging inorthodontics.
She has extensive clinical experience utilizing the latest orthodontic technologies and treatmentmodalities, and is committed to delivering individualized, patient-centered care using a varietyof evidence-based approaches. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Sharma is actively involvedin academic dentistry and will be teaching orthodontics to residents and dental students atRutgers School of Dental Medicine.
As a New Jersey native, Dr. Sharma is excited to return home and serve her community atBrunswick Smiles. Her goal is to create thoughtful, customized treatment plans that lead toconfident, lasting smiles.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sharma enjoys spending time with her son and husband, trying newrestaurants, traveling, and playing tennis. She is also an avid reader and always welcomes bookrecommendations.
